Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
VXIT helps businesses run their technology, which means we take the handling of information seriously, both yours and your team's. This policy explains what we collect through vxit.com and in the course of delivering our managed IT services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
01Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of vxit.com and to representatives of businesses that contact us, request a consultation, or become clients. Where VXIT processes data inside a client's systems as part of a managed IT engagement, we do so as a service provider on that client's behalf and under the terms of our service agreement; this policy governs our own practices, not the privacy policies of the businesses we serve.
02Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — name, business email, phone number, and company name when you book a call, submit a form, or email us.
- Support information — details you share when you open a ticket or use remote support, including the issue you are reporting and the device or account involved.
- Diagnostic responses — answers you enter into interactive tools on our site, such as the Vangärd AI readiness diagnostic. These are processed in your browser to show you a result; we do not require you to submit them to us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — pages viewed, referring links, browser type, and general location inferred from IP address, gathered to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small files that help the site function and let us measure traffic. See section 05.
03How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and provide sales and account information.
- To deliver, maintain, and improve our managed IT, security, and support services.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and the tools on it.
- To send service communications and, where you have opted in, occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
04How we share information
We share information only as needed to run our business and serve you:
- Service providers — vetted vendors who help us operate, such as hosting, scheduling, email, and analytics providers, bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of VXIT, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
05Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to make the site work and analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site functions. Where required, we honor recognized browser privacy signals.
06How we protect information
Security is our core business, and we apply it to our own operations. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and tested backups. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect the data in our care.
07How long we keep information
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our client relationships, and meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
08Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email hello@vxit.com. We will verify and respond to your request as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
09Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be made clear on the site.
