Hiring year-round

I want to work at VXIT.

We're a managed IT provider serving businesses with 25 to 250 employees.

Everyone here is held to THE STVNDVRD.

The work

What you'd be walking into.

01

Who we serve

Businesses with 25 to 250 employees. You'd own real client relationships, not tickets in a queue.

02

Three pillars

Strategy, security and support. The same three things we sell are the three things you'd work on.

03

The standard

1-hour response, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Real humans answer the phone.

Culture guide

THE STVNDVRD

Sixteen standards. They govern how we treat clients, how we treat each other, and what we expect of anyone who joins.

Close the loop.

If someone (client or colleague) must chase you down or ask you for an update on anything, you’ve failed. Don’t be on someone’s “follow up list”.

Pick up the phone.

When in doubt, call someone or get face to face with them. Don’t hide behind emails, texts or DMs.

Today, not tomorrow.

If it can be done now, don’t put it off. If you have to eat the frog, do it early in the morning.Mark Twain

Be anticipatory.

Learn to see around corners, get ahead of someone (colleagues and clients) else’s needs and be ready to offer the help they might not have realized they needed.

Bring solutions.

Problems are only half the story. Always bring at least 1 solution when you present a problem and be clear on what you’ve tried.

FITFO.

Work out the FITFO muscle.

If it’s not in ConnectWise, it didn’t happen.

Document everything.

Fill in the gaps with trust.

Never assume someone (client or colleague) is “out to get you”. Always think that people have the best intentions.

Extreme ownership.

Do what you say you’re going to do, when you say you’re going to do it. If you can’t, let someone (colleagues and clients) know in advance.

Give people your full attention.

No distractions in meetings (remote or in-person). Humans can’t multitask. Give people your full attention.

We are a customer service company that just happens to do IT.

Create great experiences for others even in the small ways.

Make it easy for people to do business with us.

Reduce friction in the relationship.

Learn from your mistakes.

Don’t repeat them. A double bogey is a bad shot, followed by a stupid shot.Keith J. Cunningham

Whatever it takes.

Don’t make excuses. Chase down the right solution even if it involves others.

We produce outcomes.

It’s easy to get busy but not be productive.

How you do one thing is how you do everything.

The little things matter. Do everything well.

How we screen

Every candidate starts with a Predictive Index assessment. It takes a few minutes, and there's nothing to study for.

We use it because a résumé tells us what you've done, not what you'd enjoy doing every day. This kind of assessment surfaces the work you're naturally drawn to. It helps us put you in a role you'll actually thrive in and not one where it slowly sucks the life out of you.

How to apply

We take résumés year-round.

Send your résumé to hello@vxit.com with a short note about what you've worked on. If there's a fit, we'll reach out. If there isn't one today, we keep good people on file and come back to them when a seat opens.

Send a résumé

Think you'd fit? Tell us why.

A résumé is fine. A short note about what you've fixed lately is better.
